It was a hard fought battle for the High Country Grizzlies (2-3) in Columbus, Georgia against the Columbus Lions (3-2).
Offensively the Grizzlies put up 13 net rushing yards on ten attempts resulting in one touchdown for the team. High Country Grizzlies had a total of 214 net passing yards on 3

Key players for the Grizzlies consisted of Mackenzie Williams who was responsible for 1 interception for three yards and Ethan Farmer who made the other interception resulting a two yard game for the Grizzlies. Daniel Lee and Malachi Jones were big components the game. Lee had seven catches for 118 yards and three touchdowns while Jones had five receptions for 56 yards and was responsible for two touchdowns for the Grizzlies.
Wide receiver Malachi Jones says, "Despite the outcome we still played good football an was proud of my team for never giving up. Even when we were down, we continued to figure until the game was over. Congrats to Columbus, they are a good team and organization I love this team and organization. We'll take this bye week to rest up, look at film and iron out some things and get ready for Georgia."
The Grizzlies will be back in the den again on May 7 against the Georgia Firebirds (1-4). Kick off is set for 3:30 p.m. with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. for spectators. We hope to see everyone there sporting their Grizzlies gear and ready to go!
