JACKSONVILLE – The National Arena League announced today that Sharks defensive back Jabari Gorman earned NAL Playoffs Defensive Player of the Week for his standout performance in the playoffs against the Monterrey Steel.
Gorman helped the Sharks secure their spot in the NAL Championship on Saturday night at the Shark Tank. He posed quite the threat to the Steel offensive. Gorman had 4.5 tackles and 2 interceptions which helped rally the Sharks to a 43-32 victory over the Steel.
This is Gorman’s first weekly honor of the season. Gorman is also second on the team for solo tackles. The Sharks will face off against the Columbus Lions for the NAL Championship Title in Jacksonville on Monday, July 10 at 7:30 p.m.
