Lions welcome Gerod Holliman to the 2018 roster.


Holliman played free safety at the University of Louisville from 2012-2015. After only playing 3 games due to injury his freshman year, Holliman played 11 games with 16 tackles as a redshirt freshman in 2013. In 2014, he started for the Cardinals and finished the season with a NCAA record-tying 14 interceptions. He won the Jim Thorpe Award and was named a consensus All-American.      After his junior season, Holliman entered the 2015 NFL Draft where he was chosen in the 7th round by the Pittsburgh Steelers
