The Columbus Lions continue to stack the roster on defense, with today’s signing of Roderick Byers.  Byers (6’4, 295 lbs) is a defensive end out of Clemson.  Over the course of 29 games at Clemson, Byers had 66 tackles, two tackles for loss and four quarterback pressures.  He also spent part of 2014 as a reserve tight end, earning a letter on both sides of the ball.  Byers also played for the Tigers with current Columbus Lion Corey Crawford.
