GREENSBORO – Terrence McCrae (6’4, 205) will be joining the Carolina Cobras for his first season of arena football. McCrae was an undrafted free agent and signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011, but was released in August just prior to the NFL season. McCrae attended Ohio University from 2006 to 2010 playing in 49 games for a total of 85 receptions for 1,197 yards and 19 touchdowns for the Bobcats.
McCrae is a native of Vanderbilt, Pennsylvania and played for Connellsville High School. During his high school career, he was a three-year starter who earned All-Conference and All-County honors his senior year. During his final season at Connellsville he caught 33 passes for 651 yards and seven touchdowns. He was also a All-Class 4A defensive back.
