Tulsa University Star signs with the Mammoths
PORTLAND- Keevan Lucas (5’10, 194) signs with the Maine Mammoths for his first year of arena football. Lucas was on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad in 2017.
Lucas attended all four years of college at Tulsa University. In his freshman year in 2013, Lucas played in 12 games and recorded 32 catches for 442 yards and one touchdown. 2014 was his best year, as Lucas played in 12 games, had an incredible 101 receptions for 1,219 yards and 11 touchdowns. 2015 wasn’t the best season for Lucas, but he played in four games and had 26 receptions for 409 yards and five touchdowns. In his senior year, Lucas played in 13 games, had 81 receptions for 1,180 yards and an outstanding 15 touchdowns.
Lucas is a native of Abilene, Texas and played high school football at Abilene High School in Abilene, Texas. In his high school career, Lucas had 124 catches for 1,825 yards and 14 touchdowns.
