Former Green Bay Blizzard Defensive Back signs with the Cobras
GREENSBORO- Tyrell Pearson (5’9, 171) signs with the Carolina Cobras for his second season of arena football. Last year, Pearson made his rookie debut with the Green Bay Blizzard. In Green Bay, Pearson dominated with 61 tackles, a team-high six interceptions, and 11 pass breakups. Pearson was also a kick returner and had 586 yards and two returns for a touchdown.
Pearson started college at Mesa Community College in Arizona. South Alabama University. In his two years at Mesa Community College, Pearson had 39 tackles, eight interceptions and 10 pass breakups. Pearson transferred to South Alabama, where he finished his college career. Pearson only played for one season at South Alabama, but in that one season, Pearson recorded 40 tackles, four interceptions, and 11 pass breakups.
Pearson is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and graduated high school at Greenville Senior High School in Greenville, South Carolina.
