Former Mountaineer comes to Maine
PORTLAND- Sean Walters (6’2,220) signs with the Maine Mammoths for his first year of arena football.
Walters attended the University of West Virginia, where he played linebacker from 2013-2016. During his career in WVU, he played in 31 games for the Mountaineers, setting a total of 42 career tackles, three for a loss, two sacks, two pass breakups and one interception. As a Mountaineer, he helped the team to three bowl game appearances including the Liberty Bowl in 2014, the Cactus Bowl in 2015, and the Russell Athletic Bowl in 2016.
Walters is a native of Hollywood, Florida and attended Hallandale High School after transferring from Boyd Anderson High School in Lauderdale Lakes, FL. During his high school years, he played both football and basketball.
