Defensive Lineman makes rookie debut with Mammoths

PORTLAND- Javaughn Johnson (6’1,305) signs with the Maine Mammoths for his first year of arena football.

Johnson attended Taylor University, where he served on the defensive line. In 2014, Johnson played in 11 games and recorded 34 total tackles (16 solo) (18 assists), two sacks, and one fumble recovery. In 2015, Johnson played in 10 games, where he had 28 tackles (12 solo) (16 assists), and one sack. In 2016, Johnson played in 11 games, made 25 tackles (12 solo) (13 assists), and 2.5 sacks.

Wilson is a native of Highlands Ranch and attended Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

The Maine Mammoths are members of the National Arena League (NAL).
