Veteran Journeyman joins Sharks
JACKSONVILLE- Jajuan Harley (6’2,215) signs with the Jacksonville Sharks for his year of arena football and fourth overall in professional football. In 2017, Harley played for the Georgia Firebirds, during his time with the Firebirds he collected 13 tackles, three pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. In 2016, Harley signed with the Cleveland Gladiators but was later placed on recallable reassignment. In 2014, Harley signed with the Bemidji Axemen and was working for Walmart when he got the call to attend the Buffalo Bills training camp. Prior, to the Bills, Harley was projected to be a late round pick for the Seattle Seahawks, Harley went undrafted but did workout with the 2014 Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks and later with the Denver Broncos.
Harley began his college career as a four star recruit, who played for Florida State University and played defensive back. In 2009, Harley played in 11 games as a Freshman. He recorded four tackles (two solo) (two assists). In 2010, Harley played in eight games and made five tackles, all of which were solo tackles. In 2012, Harley transferred to Middle Tennessee State. That year, he made 74 tackles (38 solo) (36 assists), three passes defended, and one forced fumble.
Johnson is a native of Tallahassee, Florida and played high school football at Rickards High School in Tallahassee.
