First 2,200 Fans to Receive Cobras “BLACKOUT” Playoff T-Shirts
GREENSBORO – The Carolina Cobras (10-5) will host their first-ever playoff game in team history against the reigning NAL champions Jacksonville Sharks (10-6) . The game will take place Tuesday, August 14th, at 7 p.m. in the Greensboro Coliseum. To date the Cobras are 2-1 against the Sharks, 1-1 at home and 1-0 away. This game will be the fourth and final matchup between the two teams in 2018. If the Cobras win, and the Massachusetts Pirates fall to the Columbus Lions in their playoff matchup on Saturday the Cobras will host the 2018 National Arena League Championship. However, if the Cobras win and Pirates win the Massachusetts Pirates will host the National Arena League Championship. If the Cobras host the NAL Championship Game, it will be played on Monday, August 27 at 7pm.
The Cobras will be giving away free Cobras “BLACKOUT” playoff shirts to the first 2,200 fans in attendance. The Playoff Blackout shirts are provided by the Greensboro Coliseum and Mountain Dew Ice.
