PORTLAND- Devante Jenkins (6’3, 205) re-signs with the Maine Mammoths for his second year of arena football. During his rookie season with the Mammoths, Jenkins had 26 receptions for a total of 201 yards and 1 touchdown.
Jenkins played collegiately at Southern Connecticut State University, a Division II school in New Haven, Connecticut. During his junior season in 2015, Jenkins was selected as an All-American by USA College Football, First-Team All-Northeast 10 Conference selection, All-ECAC honoree and set the third best season in SCSU history in single-season total in touchdown receptions (15) and total receptions (66). During his senior season in 2016, Jenkins was once again an All-Northeast10 Conference selection with 850 receiving yards, nine touchdowns in 49 receptions and played in all 11 games
Jenkins is a native of Carson, California and played high school football at North Torrance High School.
