Albany Adds Ironman WR/DB Joseph Putu

The Albany Empire Sign WR/DB Joseph Putu for the 2023 Season

Albany, NY: The Albany Empire announced today that the team has signed Wide Receiver/Defensive Back, Joseph Putu, for the 2023 National Arena League season. Putu played collegiately at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. During his career in the Swamp, Putu appeared in 10 games as a reserve defensive back and a key member of the Gators special teams.  After his time at Florida, Putu was with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) for a short stint before getting an opportunity in the United States Football League (USFL) with the Michigan Panthers.
