Albany Moves to 2-0 After Thrashing Jersey Flight

TRENTON - Week two of indoor football continues with the Albany Empire facing off against the New Jersey Flights. The team hit the road this time for their showdown.

Early on, New Jersey quarterback Warren Smith throws to Larry Beavers, speeding them right inside the five yard line. Then, on first and goal, Jared Dangerfield finds the end zone.

But there is a lot more ground to cover.

After a field goal from New Jersey, the Empire go on the offensive.

Empire QB Tommy Grady buys himself some time with four minutes left in the first quarter and launches a beautiful touchdown pass caught by Phillip Barnet.

And that's all it took for the Empire.

After going up 34-13 at the half, the Empire didn’t look back as the final score is a massive win for Albany at 60-25.
