Carolina Cobras Sign DL Ethan Farmer

Carolina Cobras sign former UNC star DL Ethan Farmer Greensboro, NC The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of DL Ethan Farmer for the 2021 season.

Ethan Farmer (6’ 3” 295, University of North Carolina) a native from Tarbor City, NC was a four-year player in Chapel Hill and a starter in his last two years, and had 91 tackles, 9.5 for a loss and 2.5 sacks to go along with a forced fumble playing DT for the Tarheels. He was 2014 ALL-ACC Honorable Mention. After college he was with the Seattle Seahawks for rookie camp. Then he spent a short time with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL, before signing and playing with the High Country Grizzlies in 2017 and 2018, and played last year for the Carolina Havoc.

Farmer said, “I’m blessed to be part of the Carolina Cobras organization, ready to get to work to be a part of a great organization. I look forward to being part of a championship and key contributor to the Cobra’s Defense. Overall thankful for this opportunity and have to make it count. I really look forward to playing in front of the fans and my family”

Coach Resignalo said, “Ethan Farmer is a great athlete for his size. Ethan played DL for me in 2017 which was the first year of the NAL. Having Farmer for another season is a great opportunity for him and us. Ethan comes from UNC where he was a solid DL for the Tarheels. Farmer had a short stint with the Seahawks and in the CFL. Had the chance to coach Ethan in High Country in 2017 and looking forward to seeing him back on the field in 2021.”
