Cobras Sign DB Armagedon Draughn
The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of DB Armagedon Draughn.
Armagedon Draughn (6’ 4” 200, Tuskegee) was both a football and track star in high school, and then initially went to Albany State where he came up with 19 tackles and an interception in his redshirt freshman year. He transferred to Tuskegee for his senior season and after he got a workout with the Ottawa Redblacks of the CFL who signed him, he was a part of the final cuts but not before posting two tackles and an interception in two preseason games for the Redblacks. He was signed by the New York Jets and played in a preseason game for them. Draughn had three tackles in that game. After the Jets he went back to the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes.
In talking about making his arena debut with the Cobras, Armagedon said “Winning isn’t everything, it is the ONLY thing!! Let’s have a great 2021 season!”
Head Coach Resignalo had this to say about Draughn: “Amagedon… what else needs said! Draughn has great size and speed and is going to be a dominant force in what is going to be a great secondary group for the Cobras in 2021. The fans are going to love Armagedon!”
