Local Professional Jeff Levack Looks to Lead Front Office into Post-Season & Planning for 2022

ALBANY - The Albany Empire announced today that they have hired Jeff Levack as Team President. Levack spent seven years with ESPN radio 104.5 The Team before transitioning over to Head of Media Relations at Tech East Fire and Water Restoration. Jeff’s years of media experience will prove incredibly valuable to the Albany Empire. 

When asked about taking on the role, Levack said “I am excited to tackle this new challenge, and to bring my love for the Empire to the front office. I look forward to working closely with the ownership and head coach and general manager Tom Menas”. 

Many Empire fans will also recognize Jeff from our home games, as he has served as the in-game MC since the team’s inception! 

Owner Mike Kwarta commented on the hiring, saying “Jeff has been instrumental in the return of the Albany Empire this year, overcoming COVID obstacles and a shortened season. Everyone at the Empire is looking forward to the opportunity to make the 2022 season the best it can be. There is no one more prepared for this role and we look forward to Jeff bringing in new ideas and events for the Empire Nation.”
