HEAD COACH TOM MENAS AND OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR DAMON WARE RECEIVE EXTENDED CONTRACTS THROUGH 2024
ALBANY NY- The Albany Empire announces contract extensions for Head Coach Tom Menas and Offensive coordinator Damon Ware until 2024. Ware was also promoted to assistant head coach at the Empire’s media day this past weekend at Apex Entertainment in Albany.
Team owner Mike Kwarta said “The goal from the beginning was to bring and keep winning football in the capital region. The best way to achieve that is to keep Tom Menas and Damon Ware right here where they belong, coaching the Empire. With this move, we hope to bring many more championships to the MVP Arena.”
Menas and Ware both brought the team to a Championship win in 2021, and the Empire is excited to go on another championship run in 2022.
The Empire’s first home game is April 23rd, 2022 when they host the Carolina Cobras at the MVP Arena. Home opener tickets are available by calling 518-714-2200 Ext 101 or visiting albanyempirenal.com
