NAMPA, ID- This season, the Idaho Horsemen took the team national by joining the National Arena League.  Saturday night at the Ford Idaho Center, the Horsemen secured the first impressive NAL victory against the Oklahoma Flying Aces, with a final score of 49-36.

The game kicked off with a strong defensive play by Raymond Alexander, who recovered a fumble for a touchdown, setting the tone for the rest of the match. On the pursuing kickoff, the Horsemen special teams caused the Aces to fumble again after a big hit by defensive back Dorian Hardin and Sam Moala.  The Horsemen offense punched in another quick touchdown moving the score to 14-0 Horsemen.  Heading into halftime the Horsemen lead the Aces 28-8.  The Horsemen continued their dominance through the 3rd quarter leading 49-14 before mistakes and the Aces will to not give up moved the final score closer, ending in a score of 49-36.

This win gives the Horsemen their first National Arena League win after playing a barnburner versus the Carolina Cobras in the NAL season opener with score 51-49, and then 2 tough travel loss versus Carolina (4-2) again and the Omaha Beef (4-0) without starting Quarterback, Austin Schaffer. The Horsemen wasn't winless, they secured two other victories versus two non-league opponents.
