Injury Report Week 15

All Four Playoff Bound Teams Set to Play this Weekend

ATLANTA, GA – The National Arena League enters week 15 with two final weeks left in the regular season. The #1 ranked Jacksonville Sharks (8-2) play host to in-state rival the #4 Orlando Predators (4-6), meanwhile the #3 rank Carolina Cobras (7-4)  host the #2 ranked San Antonio Gunslingers (8-2) both games are set for Saturday night with kickoff scheduled for 7pm. This week will provide a playoff preview as all four teams have clinched the playoffs and will finalize their seeding for the NAL 2023 Playoffs in the final two weeks. The West Texas Warbirds (2-10) will enter a bye week. See full injury reports below.

#1 JACKSONVILLE SHARKS (8-2)

The Sharks traveled down to Orlando last weekend for a major road victory against their in-state rival the Orlando Predators. The Sharks dominated the game in the Jungle 67-44 and now face their longtime rival in the Shark Tank this weekend. The Sharks are the number one seed and only have San Antonio in contention for the spot. With solid play all season long the Sharks look good in a home playoff scenario with Jason Gibson at the helm the Sharks are potentially cruising to a NAL Championship season. See injury report below.

WR/DB - Marquel Wade (Out, Short-Term Injury Reserve)

#4 ORLANDO PREDATORS (4-6)

Up and down weeks after a season high victory over the Gunslingers the Predators struggled at home against their rival Jacksonville Sharks but get this weekend to avenge their loss and shake up the standings and could hurt the Sharks postseason in this game. Despite the loss teams can learn a lot from losses especially when it happens at home. Let’s see if the Predators upset the Sharks this week in the Shark Tank. See injury report below.

WR - Delvon Randall (Out, Knee)

WR - Lonnie Outlaw (Probable, Shoulder)

DB - Josh Jenkins (Probable, Hamstring)

LB/FB - Nick Hagg (Probable, Knee)

DB - Dywane Hollis (Out, Ankle)

OL/DL - Jonathan MacCollister (Probable, Hand)

#3 CAROLINA COBRAS (7-4)

With one of the strongest home field advantages the Cobras look really good this week despite their #2 opponent the San Antonio Gunslingers who they played earlier this season. The Cobras 4-1 at home are on a two game win streak and look to continue the streak going into the postseason to do so they will have to beat a tough Gunslingers team who have only lost to this year. See Cobras injury report.

OL - Josh Fields (Active, Knee)

WR/LB - Jalen Rima (Out, Foot)

WR/DB - Miles Kelly (Active, Leg)

OL/DL - Jared Aiken (Out, Ankle)

#2 SAN ANTONIO GUNSLINGERS (8-2)

Despite the recent loss the Gunslingers are 8-2 with one of the best records in the NAL this season. They will cruise into the playoffs whether they advance or not will be up to the coaches and players. This week will be a great playoff preview for the Gunslingers fans as they face a very good Carolina Cobras team who are on a two game win streak and a strong record at home. This will be the Gunslingers final regular season game, the last thing Coach Shaw and his staff plan to do is to lose two in a row before the playoffs. Expect an  great game this week from San Antonio. See injury report below.

WR/DB/KR - Kali Rashaad (Questionable)

OL/DL - Miquail Harvey (Questionable)
