INJURY REPORT: Week 9
Deciding Games Loom Over NAL Standings
ATLANTA – After nine exciting weeks of arena football which included major upsets in recent weeks while NAL stars continue to rise, the National Arena League announces it’s week 9 injury report as all six teams are set for battle this weekend with two Friday night games and a Saturday night showdown are scheduled for this weekend. First up with have the (4-4) Jacksonville Sharks traveling to the (3-3) Columbus Lions on Friday night with kickoff set for 7pm, then at 7:30pm in Orlando, the Predators (3-4) take on the Gunslingers (1-5). The Saturday night showdown will feature the NAL two top teams as the (4-3) Albany Empire fly down to face the (6-2) Carolina Cobras with kickoff set for 7pm.
Jacksonville Sharks (4-4)
With another victory last week and this time with a long-time rival the Sharks face yet another rival this time on the road in Columbus, GA against a confident (3-3) Lions team that thrives around their home crowd. See full injury

Columbus Lions (3-3)
New quarterback and new energy in the Columbus Civic Center the Lions look to be on the edge of collapse after several rough loses. However, Coach Gibson rallied his roster of Lions and have beaten the #1 ranked Carolina Cobras. Things look to be back to normal for the Lions that are used to winning but will have to face a NAL rival that is known to deliver the Lions a loss or two.
The Columbus Lions have no injuries to report this week.
Orlando Predators (3-3)
The Predators are happy to return home to the Amway Center after a close game against the Sharks where the Predators battle back from a 32-6 half to only fall 46-34. In the jungle the Predators will fight to increase their wins to four and have a good shot against the (1-5) San Antonio Gunslingers.

OL/DL - Sha-ki Holines, Leg (Questionable)
San Antonio Gunslingers (1-5)
Coming off their first win of the year, Coach Shaw and the Gunslingers proved what many had already believe the record doesn’t define this team as San Antonio has come within a field goal of beating several of the best teams in the NAL year. Tonight the Gunslingers look to get their second win of the season but will have to do it the Jungle against an intense Orlando fan base. See full injury report for the Gunslingers below.

Carolina Cobras (6-2)
After a tough loss on the road the Cobras look to bounce back this week with a win in front of the home crowd in the Snake Pit. The Cobras remain at the top of the NAL standings but the face the one team most eligible to take their spot the #2 Albany Empire who sit at (4-3). See full injury report from Josh Resignalo below.

Albany Empire (4-3)
The NAL defending champs have not found the season they were expecting but will like stay in the playoff race for a chance to defend their NAL title. This week the Empire face a bruised Cobras team that suffered their worst loss of the season on the road against Columbus. The Empire will attack in hopes of delivering the Cobras their third loss pitting the Empire one game closer to taking back first place. However, sometimes a wounded dog is the most dangerous, look for a great Saturday night showdown Saturday.
