Jersey Flight Linebacker Boqiao Li get's CFL Attention


NAL Linebacker Lines up path to CFL

ATLANTA - Jersey Flight Linebacker and Chinese-Born Boqiao Li, (6'3, 240 lbs.) has gained momentum as a result of being selected to the NFL Pathways Program, leading up to the 2021 CFL Draft following his CFL scout workouts in Tampa, FL. 

Li is currently signed with the Jersey Flight as they enter their first season in the NAL. He also has previous arena football experience, playing for the China Arena Football League (CAFL) in 2017 as a Defensive End for the Wuhan Gators. Boqiao made an impression that season earning CAFL All-Star and league MVP honor. His success in China reached the United States as he spent the following season playing college football at the Division II level at the University of Charleston.

Li returned to China to play for the Chinese National Rugby Team 2018. After that season, Boqiao then decided to take his talents back on the football field signing with the Jersey Flight of the NAL. As a rising CFL prospect he may likely spend the 2021 season in CFL becoming one step closer to his goals of playing in the NFL. The 2021 CFL draft, which will take place on Tuesday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
