Championship Weekend to Kickoff in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The National Arena League is in Jacksonville this week in preparation for the 2023 National Arena League Championship game. Today we are honored to announce one of its most prized week & weekend’s of the year, the final week of the season. A week filled with exciting news, prestigious honors, awards, and events all leading up to the annual National Arena League Championship game. This year the #1 Jacksonville Sharks (11-3) will host the #2 Carolina Cobras (11-4) at the Vystar Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL with kickoff set for 7pm. This is the second time these two teams meet in a NAL Championship game, in 2019 the Sharks battled the Cobras for the NAL title with Jacksonville winning  at home in a thrilling 52-48 game.

In what has already turned into a momentous week, with the announcement of a team joining the National Arena League in 2024 the NAL expands to the midwest with a team in Iowa, the Sioux City Bandits. The league is delighted to inform fans that we are just getting started as more news is expected to be released today along with many great days ahead for players, coaches, and fans to look forward to.
