NAL INJURY REPORT: WEEK 10

Full Arena Football Weekend Ahead


ATLANTA – As the acceleration of arena football continues through the NAL season we are already in week 10 with four deciding weeks left to the end of the regular season with four teams to be awarded playoff positions and two teams that will end their season at the conclusion of week 14. This week there will be a NAL game played with Orlando returning to Jacksonville for a Friday night showdown, Carolina travels to play San Antonio on Saturday night, and fans can also enjoy a Sunday matinee with Columbus facing the Albany Empire in New York with kickoff set for 2pm.

Jacksonville Sharks (4-5)

After a tough loss on the road the Sharks couldn’t be more ready to return to play on their home field. The Sharks slipped to 4-5 but can correct their record to .500 with a win tonight against their rival the Orlando Predators who last two weeks ago in Jacksonville. Orlando Predators (3-5)

After a heartbreaking loss in Orlando, the Predators will look for fresh start this week to turn their season around. There is no better way to end a losing streak than to find a win against a rival. See full injury report for the Predators below.

Columbus Lions (4-3)

After defeating the Sharks and an a Empire loss the Lions have leap frogged to second place in the NAL. Now they have to prove that they can stay there as they face the #3 Empire (4-4). This decision game will take place on Albany’s home turf. However, the Lions are in luck as they are low on injuries and high on confidence. See the Lions single injury below.

The Empire are itching for a win and have a shot to take back second place this week as they face the #2 Columbus Lions (4-3). Last week the Empire fell in a close game to the Cobras but will look to bring their fans a win this Sunday.

K - Marc Orozco (Out)


San Antonio Gunslingers (2-5)

San Antonio is heating up now with two wins they are ready to fight for their third this Saturday against the Carolina Cobras. The Gunslingers will have home field advantage this week after nail biting game last week in Orlando. However, the Gunslingers will have to bring their A game as the face the #1 ranked Carolina Cobras (7-2). See the Gunslingers injury report. 


OL/DL - Tre Harlan, Knee (Questionable)


Carolina Cobras (7-2)
The NAL front-runner Cobras are sprinting through the season hoping to stay far ahead of the other teams. Currently three-games or more above most teams Carolina is likely to lock in a home playoff game with only four weeks left in the season. The Cobras have their furthest away game of the season as they will face the Gunslingers (2-5) in Texas for a Saturday night showdown. See full injury report below.
