A Number of Teams Enter Week 2 with Potential Stars Sidelined

ATLANTA – The National Arena League releases it’s Injury Report for this week with two upcoming matchups in the NAL set for this Friday, June 3rd with kickoff set for 7pm. The Albany Empire (1-0) are set to play the Jersey Flight (0-1) in the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, NJ, this Northeast matchup will put All-AFL QB Tommy Grady against 2017 NAL MVP Warren Smith Jr. in Friday night shootout in Jersey. Down south Orlando Predators (0-0)  are set to play the Columbus Lions (0-1)  in the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, GA. 

Albany Empire (1-0) 
The Empire face the Jersey Flight this week after their home victory 65-60 last week seeing their first action in the Times Union Center since 2019. They have a number of players on their injury report for week 2:

(WR) Marcell Newson, Doubtful
(DL) Gabe Ostrow, Doubtful
(WR)  Mason Wilfong, Injured Reserve

Jersey Flight (0-1)
The Jersey Flight face the Albany Empire this week after their last second loss against Carolina 45-42, the Flight face the Albany Empire for the first time in team history. They have a number of players on their injury report:

Orlando Predators (0-0)
The Orlando Predators face the Columbus Lions this week for their 2021 season opener. The Predators are going into their first game in 2021 with all players healthy. This will be head coach Ben Bennett first game as the head coach of the Orlando Predators.

Columbus Lions (0-1) 
The Columbus Lions face the Orlando Predators this week after a nail biting 65-60 loss to the Empire. Lions head coach Jason Gibson reported they only have two players reporting injuries going into week two.
