Sharks Add Lineman Dalvon Stuckey to Training Camp Roster

                                                   Former West Georgia Wolf Prepares for Arena Football

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Sharks announce today the signing of offensive and defensive lineman Dalvon Stuckey who enters his third season of arena football and first with the Jacksonville Sharks.

Dalvon Stuckey (6’4, 330) recently spent two seasons with the Gulf Coast Gators in the APDFL (Amateur to Professional Developmental Football League). Stuckey played defensive tackle. During his time with the Gators (2019-2020) he played in over 23 games totaling 21 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks. In 2019 with the Gators, Stuckey and the Gators finished the season with 8-2 record winning their last seven games in a row averaging only 11 points allowed in that span. Stuckey played for the 2018 American Arena League Champion Atlanta Havoc where he played on the AAL’s best defensive line. Stuckey also played defensive lineman for the 2017 Columbus Lions (NAL) where he played in five games racking up 5 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and one fumble recovery. 

Stuckey finished his career at West Georgia University, in his last season he helped WGU to a 12-3 record, a victory of division II powerhouse Valdosta State in the NCAA Quarterfinals and an appearance in the NCAA Division II SemiFinals. Prior to West Georgia, Stuckey was a JUCO transfer that spent time at Pearl River Community College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. During his JUCO career he quickly found success and was rated the #8 best JUCO player in the Nation. (ESPN, 2014). As a JUCO player he received a list of offers that included Florida, Cincinnati, Auburn, and Arizona State. 

Stuckey was a high school All-American defensive lineman from Defuniak Springs, FL in Walton County. He received over 15 division offers during his high school career and committed to Florida State before he started his college career at the JUCO level.
