6'6 Talent Looks Forward to Playing Two-Way in the Trenches
JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Sharks announce today the signing of offensive & defensive lineman TJ Roundtree to the Sharks training camp roster. This will be Roundtree's second year in arena football and first with the Jacksonville Sharks.
Toriano Roundtree (6’6, 330) signed with the Spokane Shock of the Indoor Football League (IFL) last season. In 2019, Roundtree was an undrafted free agent who was a member of the XFL inaugural draft pool.
Roundtree completed his college career at Colorado State University where he played his redshirt senior year. In his lone season with the Rams he played in all 12 games as a starter on the offensive line earning Lindy’s All-MW First Team honors. Prior to CSU, he played for Louisville for three seasons on the Cardinals offensive line (2015-2017) where he blocked for current NFL quarterback and 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson. During Roundtree's time with Louisville he played in 18 games helping Louisville to bowl games in all three years including a 27-21 victory over Texas A&M in the Music City Bowl. Roundtree began his college career at the JUCO level playing for Eastern Arizona CC. where he started in three games that season at offensive tackle.
TJ Roundtree is a native of Gainesville, FL. He played high school football for P.K. Yonge High where he won offensive lineman of the year in 2013. Roundtree also competed as a three-sport athlete lettering in basketball and track & field.
