THE ALBANY EMPIRE ANNOUNCES THE SIGNING OF DONOVAN MCDONALD

ALBANY NY- The Albany Empire announces the signing of Donovan McDonald, former University of Albany Great Dane.

With only 20 days until the Empire’s first game against the Carolina Cobras, McDonald’s speed and depth as a wide receiver will be a great asset for the Empire.

McDonald’s senior year as a Great Dane he appeared in 11 games as a wide receiver and special teams.  He had 16 catches for 228 yards and one touchdown and had 24 kick returns for 575 yards and one touchdown. McDonald had 12 punt returns for 69 yards and 98-yard kick return touchdown vs. Lafayette Leopards.
