The Albany Empire Sign RB Tyler Adkins for the 2023 Season

Albany, NY: The Albany Empire announced today that the team has signed Running Back Tyler Adkins for the 2023 National Arena League season. Adkins played collegiately at Pittsburgh State University in Pittsburgh, Kansas from 2016-2021 after being an Oklahoma Class 6A All-State selection as a senior in 2015.  Going into his senior year at Pittsburgh State, Adkins was a focal point of the Gorillas offense with Adkins seeing 373 carries for 1,901 yards and 18 touchdowns in his first 5 season.  Adkins would go on to see another 143 carries in his final year for 652 yards and 7 touchdowns.  In his top performance of the season, Adkins took 18 carries for 107 yards and 1 touchdown in a 26-20 victory over Central Oklahoma.
