Sharks Home Opener April 30

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Sharks kickoff their home opener Saturday, April 30 against the defending NAL champion Albany Empire. Were looking for another Nightmare on Bay street as the Sharks upset the Empire last season handing them their only loss of the season. Let’s get LOUD and SPOOKY again Shark Nation and help the Sharks get the win. Saturday’s game will be played in the Vystar Memorial Arena with kickoff set for 7 pm, and doors open to the public at 6 pm. It’s Halloween in April and we have some ‘Tricks & Treats’ for you, here’s everything you need to know for Saturday’s game. 

Halloween in April Presented by Clay Eye Physicians & Surgeons

Dress up as your favorite superhero, princess, or even a Shark player, you decide! Keep an eye out for scary characters from the 13th Floor as they look to haunt the arena all night long but don’t worry they don’t BITE! Every 13th Floor character is available for photo ops with you, your family, and the ghosts & ghouls! It’s one big Halloween party so test out your favorite costumes at the Sharks game to see if that is what you will wear in October. Enjoy Halloween party music by DJ Dark Knight, an in-game costume contest, and creepy classic Halloween movie clips on our video boards all night long. 

FREE THUNDER STICKS!!!!!

The Sharks will be providing FREE inflatable thunder sticks to the first 1,500 fans in the arena for Saturday’s game. Let’s make some noise and shock the Albany Empire with the best fans in the arena football. 

Scout Night

Tonight's National Anthem Performance is Presented by Duval County Supervisors of Elections

Each national anthem performance this season will be Presented by the Duval County Supervisors of Elections who want you to remember that July 25 is the last day to register to vote for the August 23 primary. Visit www.duvalelections.gov/ to register.

At the beginning of the second quarter, come on down to meet and take photos with Chum and Finn during their autograph session located on the concourse at the section 100 entrance 

NO Sharks Horns

Unfortunately, Sharks horns will not be allowed back in this game. Please do not bring your Shark horns to the arena for Saturday’s game.

Suite/Duval Street Entrance

This entrance will be open for all Sharks season ticket holders starting at 6:00 p.m.

Enjoy a performance by the Attack Dance team followed by the talented youth at the Ballet Arts Center

Fling-A-Football

How’s your aim? Our halftime Fling-A-Football promotion gives you a chance to win $150 in Shark Bucks. At just $1 per throw (or 6 for $5), you might as well give it a shot! Be sure to have your mini-footballs ready when halftime rolls around! Fling-A-Footballs are available for purchase inside the arena on the main concourse until the middle of the second quarter.

Junior Attack Dance Camp

Parents! 2022 Attack Dance Camp will begin June 10th for Jr. Attack Dance Camp practice and the Jr. Attack Dance Camp will continue on  June 11th at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena. On June 11th these young ladies will perform on the field during the Sharks game as well as at halftime for the Jr. Attack Halftime Performance. Sign your little girl up today!
