NAL Champion Suits Up for Siaha Burley

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sharks announced today the signing of wide receiver / defensive back Kamrin Solomon for his third season of arena football and second with the Jacksonville Sharks.

Solomon (6’2, 205) spent the 2021 season with the Spokane Shock of the IFL, where he played receiver for the Shock, recording 30 receptions for 321 yards, and five touchdowns. In 2019, Solomon helped the Sharks to a 15-1 record and a NAL Championship, half his receptions led to scores as he totaled 10 receptions for 129 yards and five touchdowns during the 2019 season.

Prior to arena football, Solomon was an undrafted NFL free agent who had workouts with the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars. Solomon spent his college career at Florida Atlantic University where he played wide receiver for the Owls. He had a career total of 69 receptions for 867 yards and three touchdowns. During his senior season he helped FAU to a 11-3 record, a C-USA championship victory over North Texas while also helping FAU to a Boca Raton Bowl victory in 2017.

Solomon is a native of Jacksonville, FL where he played for Mandarin High School. Solomon recorded 68 catches for 1,159 yards and 10 touchdowns but his most noticeable stat came from special teams where he amassed a record breaking 10 career blocked kicks during his high school days with the Mustangs. He was also a three sport athlete playing football, basketball, and track.
